The regular annual assembly of the NGO “Savršen krug” was held on February 18, 2025, in Zagreb. Annual report on the work of the NGO: Our NGO’s humanitarian actions to help children, young people and socially vulnerable families continue throughout the year, with an emphasis on the increased number of beneficiaries and activities during the Easter and Christmas holidays. This year’s Christmas action collected, packed and distributed 220 food and hygiene packages and 40 packages of clothing to those in need. The total value of the collected monetary and material donations is EUR €40,700. Last year’s Easter action (2024) collected, packed and distributed 64 packages. The total value of the collected monetary and material donations is EUR €14,500. At the beginning of the year (2025) in the Velika Ludina area, a team from the same area successfully employed N.N. (52), brought electricity, and renovated the house in a dilapidated condition enough for decent living conditions, equipped it with furniture, heating stove, television, fridge, clothes, shoes, and a food hygiene package.
Throughout the year, the NGO collects food and hygiene supplies and various other items and helps those who need it most with clothing, food, furniture and necessary equipment. The following items are collected: ready-made meals, rice, biscuits, cured meats, oil, pâtés, flour, salt, sugar, coffee, pasta, canned goods (fish, ragout), clothing, blankets, bedding, socks, sweaters, hygiene supplies. The actions were carried out in the areas of Varaždin, Krapina-Zagorje, Sisak-Moslavina, Istria, Zagreb, the City of Zagreb and the municipality of Novi Marof, in whose municipality, based on a tip directly from the field by our volunteer of the year (2023) T.Š., an electricity enumerator in Varaždin County, from 2023-2024 we have an additional 23 new households (residents) that we care for, and these are elderly and/or infirm persons and families with several small children and difficult life stories of people living in inhumane conditions.
In addition to humanitarian work, we have been working on educational programs for children, youth and friends of the association for 20 years. The priority of building the “Bajka” picnic area in Veliki Gorenec has gained significance in our cause. The program now includes autumn, winter and spring educational gatherings and activities such as hiking, archery, shooting, cooking traditional dishes, mushroom picking, making furniture from old materials and pallets, to teach them how to handle various tools and implements and in order to bring young people closer to nature and an old fashioned way of life. We currently have accommodation for 4+2, an outdoor covered kitchen, a workshop and a tool shed. Our mission is to build the association’s picnic area, which includes the construction of a Pub (Canteen-Kitchen), a Hall and a dormitory with 20-30 beds.
